Nele escapes the monotony of her daily life in the world of music and opera. She forgets her call-centre job and discovers opera is a magical place where reality can be transcended. She meets Kolya by chance on the street and discovers a kindred spirit in the petty criminal. ORPHEA IN LOVE reimagines the Orpheus myth from Greek mythology and turns it on its head: Nele becomes Orpheus, and Kolya, Eurydice.
